Airbus has answered NATO’s call for the next generation of rotorcraft fleet, unveiling two concepts designed for high-speed flights and operational flexibility.
The aerospace giant is proposing a conventional helicopter optimized for high performance alongside an advanced compound aircraft built for rapid, high-tempo operations.
Both concepts reportedly prioritize modularity and simplicity, using an open architecture that allows sensors, weapons, and other critical payloads to be integrated without major platform changes.
