Tel Aviv’s officials now view the drone threat from the Lebanon-based group as a major security challenge, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu urging the armed forces to find new countermeasures.
The Israeli military has reportedly contacted defense suppliers in several European countries to accelerate deliveries of protective systems and equipment, in a bid to strengthen forces deployed near the Lebanese border.
