Eurofl’Eye is an advanced Distributed Aperture System, with a 360-degree panoramic view, supporting obstacle detection, terrain assessment, self-protection, and enhancing situational awareness.
European NH90 helicopters are getting “smarter eyes” in the sky, thanks to Safran Electronics & Defense’s next-gen technology.
Known as Eurofl’Eye, this advanced Distributed Aperture System (DAS) gives pilots a full 360-degree view of their surroundings, eliminating blind spots and enhancing navigation safety.
It fuses imagery from six wide-field infrared cameras into a real-time, helmet-mounted display, letting crews maintain awareness without diverting attention.
