The US Air Force is seeking an AI agent to unify data from roughly 60 disconnected systems supporting the sustainment of the Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) fleet.
The proposed system would create a single interface that can pull and visualize information from maintenance records, design drawings, local hard drives, and shared networks, giving personnel a consolidated view of the fleet’s condition.
The air force expects the AI system to reduce the manual work involved in analyzing data and identifying when missile components need replacement, while making relevant information available in near real time.
