The deal, valued at 102 million Brazilian real ($17 million), was signed during the Mostra BID defense and security exhibition in Brasilia last week.
In addition to supplying the SABER radar, Embraer will provide technical and maintenance support for the system.
The company did not disclose the contract's delivery timeline.
Once delivered, the Brazilian Army will become the first operator of the SABER M200 radar, strengthening its anti-aircraft artillery units.
About the SABER M200
Unveiled in 2021, the SABER M200 Vigilante radar is designed for anti-aircraft units’ low-altitude surveillance.
It uses advanced signal processing technology to accurately detect and track aerial targets.
Equipped with two active phased array antennas, the radar boasts a detection range of up to 200 kilometers (124 miles).
Its integrated power generator allows for easy deployment via the C-390 airlifter.
The Brazilian Army already operates another variant of the SABER radar, the M60, for border surveillance.
