EOS Gives Slinger Weapon System ‘Brains’ to Beat Drone Swarms

EOS Defense Systems USA is rolling out a modernized version of its Slinger remote weapon system (RWS), now tuned to outsmart and outshoot the drones redefining today’s battlefields.

The upgraded RWS introduces aided target recognition and now operates on varying levels of autonomy to keep pace with evolving drone threats.

According to EOS Chief Executive Officer Shawn Baerlocher, the enhancements will streamline a soldier’s workload by assisting with the “detection, classification, and engagement” processes of hostile drones in real time.
