Prepar3D Fuse is a next-gen military training tech with Unreal Engine 5, featuring a full-earth globe with 1,000+ geo-referenced airports, high-res cityscapes, and multi-spectral sensors.
A new collaboration between Lockheed Martin and Blackshark.ai is aiming to reset the bar for military training software, producing a new “full-earth” simulator called Prepar3D Fuse.
Built on a custom Unreal Engine 5, the tool creates a single training environment that spans everything from early flight instruction to complex, multi-domain missions.
It merges Lockheed’s simulation expertise with AI-generated terrain, commercial graphics, and advanced sensor modeling to deliver a global, high-fidelity training ecosystem.
