The US Marine Corps is turning to AI to help maintainers make faster, data-driven repair decisions for mission-critical equipment, improving readiness while making better use of limited maintenance resources.

The US Marine Corps is turning to AI to help maintainers make faster, data-driven repair decisions for mission-critical equipment, improving readiness while making better use of limited maintenance resources.

The capability comes through Tagup’s Manifest platform under a contract with the Marine Corps’ 1st Maintenance Battalion, which manages critical repairable components for the I Marine Expeditionary Force.

Manifest analyzes historical maintenance and supply data to forecast demand, predict repair timelines and costs, and recommend the best repair approach for each component.
