NOMAD UGV Debuts With Scout AI's 'Fastest' Autonomy System

Scout AI and Hendrick Motorsports Technical Solutions (HMS) have partnered on NOMAD, a next-gen unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) powered by the Fury autonomy system.

The platform is the second UGV form factor to integrate Scout’s autonomy stack and the first to run its “fastest foundation model yet.”

Here, “fastest” doesn’t point to the vehicle’s driving speed but to the autonomy itself, with lower latency, quicker decision loops, and optimization for smaller, low-power platforms.
