Northrop Grumman’s new multi-function active electronically scanned array (AESA) sensing tech promises to put US and allied warfighters ahead of the curve in any fight.

Called Valen, the system merges radar, electronic warfare (EW), and communications into a single wideband package for both manned and unmanned platforms, spanning air and space domains.

Using advanced micro-scale packaging, it integrates multiple semiconductors to deliver faster processing, improved thermal performance, and lower power consumption.
