QinetiQ Joins US Army Program to Develop Next-Gen Target Acquisition System

QinetiQ is taking a pivotal role in developing the US Army’s next-gen target acquisition system.

The company announced Tuesday it has been tapped to participate in a multi-phase prototyping effort for the Future Advanced Long-range Common Optical/Netted-fires Sensor (FALCONS) system.

FALCONS is poised to revolutionize the Army’s battlefield sensing capabilities, replacing the existing Long-Range Advanced Scout Surveillance System.
