Sentar has been selected to compete for task orders under a US Navy contract supporting the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific.

Sentar has been selected as one of several companies to compete for task orders under a US Navy contract supporting the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific).

The potential work will help the US Navy define the operational, functional, and technical requirements for military systems used at the national, theater, and force levels.

The multiple-award contract has an initial shared ceiling of $278 million and a five-year ordering period through August 2031.

A two-year option could extend it through 2033 and raise its total potential value to $400 million.

Work will be performed in San Diego, California.

Potential assignments include operational exercise planning and development, mission requirements analysis, concept development, feasibility demonstrations, and operational and technical support.

Task orders may also cover requirements verification and validation, engineering assessments, and technical documentation.

Other potential work includes software and hardware development, systems integration, testing, evaluation, and technology demonstrations.

Sentar will apply systems engineering methods and use DevSecOps practices, which integrate cybersecurity throughout the development of software and digital systems.

Military Cybersecurity Work

The NIWC Pacific award builds on Sentar’s previous cybersecurity work for the US military.

In 2024, the Alabama-based company received a $32-million task order to provide cybersecurity risk management services to the Defense Health Agency.

That award extended Sentar’s nearly decade-long support for the agency’s Cyber Security Division.

Services cover Military Health System facilities worldwide, including 60,000 servers and workstations, as well as about 430 Programs of Record operating across different infrastructure and software environments.
