Typhoon USV Gains Ability to Launch One-Way Drones With a Single Button

The Typhoon uncrewed surface vessel (USV) from US firm Splash Industries can now launch one-way attack drones from the sea, thanks to a new Airstrike Pack mission module.

At its core, the system allows operators to deploy aerial drones with the press of a button through the company's command-and-control system, known as Splash C2. 

Splash Industries, based in California, said the module has already been tested during a force-on-force exercise.
