US Firms Team to Help Law Enforcement Track Drones and Their Operators

Two US firms have teamed up to develop technology that lets law enforcement track not just incoming drones, but also the operators behind them.

Dallas-based AirSight will integrate its AirGuard platform into Atlanta firm Flock’s FlockOS, the operating system law enforcement agencies use to view license plate data and real-time video alerts.

The integration creates a common operating picture that pinpoints a detected drone target and the exact location of its operator when made available through remote identification.
