RTX's Raytheon has received a $3.7-billion contract to replenish Guidance Enhanced Missile - Tactical (GEM-T) interceptors for Ukraine’s MIM-104 Patriot network.
The solutions are designed to expand the surface-to-air missile system’s capability to secure warfighters and infrastructure from all types of airborne threats, including tactical ballistic missiles.
Production of the GEM-Ts will be supported by RTX’s manufacturing line in Schrobenhausen, Germany.
The center, operated by Raytheon and MBDA Deutschland joint venture COMLOG, will support direct commercial procurements with partner nations in addition to ongoing artillery supplies for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Kyiv first received the US-made Patriot system in 2023 and confirmed a new batch of missiles from partner countries in April 2026.
Currently, the nation has approximately 10 operational batteries, with the entire arsenal incorporating about 60 launchers and 600 missiles.
Including Ukraine, the Patriot is employed across 19 countries.
"Raytheon is focused on maximizing production capacity, ensuring a steady, reliable supply of these combat-proven interceptors for the US and allies like Ukraine who rely on Patriot to protect their citizens, infrastructure and sovereignty," Raytheon President Phil Jasper stated.
"Raytheon is investing heavily to increase GEM-T production to support growing global demand, driven by major internal and partner investments, second‑sourcing initiatives and the expansion of our global supply chain."
