Texas-based defense contractor KBR has secured a task order worth up to $208 million to assist operations of the US Army’s Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions (TAGM) Project Office.
The contract extends KBR’s role as prime contractor on the program, focusing on optimized acquisition approaches to expedite deployment of next-generation precision strike capabilities amid evolving global threats.
Under the deal, the company will deliver full lifecycle assistance, including advanced engineering, rapid prototyping, modernization, foreign military sales, and global logistics.
It will support core army modernization goals across multi-domain operations, aviation lethality, and counter-unmanned aerial systems.
TAGM, part of the military’s Portfolio Acquisition Executive FIRES, is directly tied to fielding AGM-114 Hellfire, Joint Air-to-Ground Missiles, Javelin, TOW missiles, Hydra rockets, and Long-Range Precision Munitions.
Activities will be facilitated for five years, with work to be handled by Mission Technology Solutions, a KBR division slated to spin off as Trinzic.
