Amentum will bring artificial intelligence into military logistics under a new $77-million contract aimed at strengthening supply and distribution networks for US forces in the Indo-Pacific.

Amentum will bring artificial intelligence into military logistics under a new $77-million contract aimed at strengthening supply and distribution networks for US forces in the Indo-Pacific.

Awarded by the US General Services Administration (GSA), the five-year deal provides logistics operations support for the Pentagon and other federal customers in Japan, supporting US Indo-Pacific Command missions.

“Amentum’s new relationship with the GSA is a natural fit given our unique global supply chain reach, forward-positioned operational capability, and expeditionary sustainment,” Dr. Karl Spinnenweber, president of Amentum’s Mission Solutions business, said.
