India is advancing its drone arsenal with a next-gen vehicle capable of operating in both air and underwater environments.
Developed by AquaAirX Autonomous Systems, AVATAAR’s structure is crafted from corrosion-resistant carbon fiber and coated with specialized materials to protect its sensors from harsh maritime conditions.
It is equipped with an acoustic communication modem for reliable underwater links and Ultra-Short Baseline navigation for precise positioning.
