An autonomous system that can traverse terrain and take flight when obstacles block its path is the core idea behind a hybrid robot developed by Indian firms ArcanumSpace and Quetzalcoatl.

Known as ARC ODIN, the ground-air tactical system can rapidly transition from an unmanned ground vehicle to an unmanned aerial vehicle.

This dual-mode capability aims to give soldiers enhanced situational awareness and beyond-line-of-sight visibility when ground-level movement is restricted.
