The Taiwanese Navy has flown a new medium-class one-way strike drone for the first time during the Han Kuang exercise, adding another locally developed autonomous weapon to Taiwan’s growing drone arsenal.
The Taiwanese Navy has flown a new medium-class one-way strike drone for the first time during the Han Kuang exercise, adding another locally developed autonomous weapon to Taiwan’s growing drone arsenal.
The drone flew over the beach for about 30 minutes while simulating an attack on Tsoying, home to Taiwan’s largest naval base.
According to Business Insider, the platform was provided by the Ministry of National Defence's Armament Bureau to the navy for testing purposes.
