Leidos has received a contract worth up to $64.8 million to continue modernizing the digital infrastructure supporting global intelligence systems for the US Navy.

Awarded by the Office of Naval Intelligence, the agreement features a one-year base period with four option years, extending work the Virginia-based company has handled since 2021.

Under that initiative, Leidos will enhance operational reliability, secure data sharing, and technology integration for the Hopper Global Communications Center.

The center, located in Maryland, delivers information technology services that rapidly distribute critical data to leadership across the force and the broader US Department of Defense, managing some of the military's most sensitive information.

"Modern intelligence operations depend on digital infrastructure that performs securely and reliably across the globe," said Chad Haferbier, senior vice president of decision advantage at Leidos.

"We are helping the Office of Naval Intelligence modernize that foundation so trusted information reaches warfighters faster."

Recent Cyber Efforts

The naval intelligence award follows several major defense contracts for Leidos.

In April, the company secured a four-year, $456-million General Services Administration contract to oversee the Pentagon’s support website for troops and their families.

Leidos also won a $455-million contract in March to revamp the US Air Force’s Cloud One portal alongside major commercial cloud providers, including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle.

Earlier this year, the firm partnered with RegScale to integrate its UpHold Armor platform, automating cybersecurity compliance across defense segments starting with the US Air Force.
