‘A Class of Its Own’: New British Hybrid Drone Can Haul 400-Kg in One Go

Defense giant MBDA has taken part in developing a unique drone capable of carrying nearly half a ton of payload.

The vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) system, named HYDRA-400, can haul 400 kilograms (882 pounds) of weapons, tactical gear, or equipment.

It can handle ship-to-ship transfers, last mile logistics, and casualty evacuation, making it adaptable to diverse military and operational scenarios.
