A Danish firm is working with Ukraine on a maritime defense system designed to intercept Russian Shahed drones before they reach the country’s major Black Sea ports.
Copenhagen-based BlueShadow’s BlueDragon combines autonomous naval platforms with sensors, radar, and interceptor drones to detect, track, and neutralize incoming threats over the water.
It is envisioned to engage targets before they can reach critical coastal infrastructure, creating a defensive layer offshore rather than waiting for drones to approach the shoreline.
