Israeli new cargo drone uses electric propulsion, vertical takeoff and landing, carries up to 550 pounds of payload, offers a 70-cubic-foot cargo bay, spans 24.6 feet, and measures 19.2 feet in length.

Israeli firm AIR is pushing unmanned logistics forward with a new heavy-lift drone built to deliver cargo quickly and reliably under tough conditions.

The aircraft can carry up to 550 pounds (250 kilograms), giving units the lift needed to move bulky gear in a single run.

Its nearly 25-foot (7.5-meter) wingspan, 20-foot (6-meter) length, and 7.5-foot (2.3-meter) height give it a compact profile that reportedly balances capacity with operational flexibility.
