A new counter-drone tool from Israeli firms Innoviz Technologies and Cogniteam is designed for more accurate detection and classification of airborne threats in demanding environments.
The system integrates Innoviz' 3D Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) technology with Cogniteam's AI-powered perception software, including its AI-driven 3D analytics engine.
This combination reportedly improves threat recognition by analyzing an object's shape, motion, flight behavior, and three-dimensional characteristics.
