Drone Functions Kit is a modular system from KNDS that adds a 2.5-meter compartment to armored or amphibious vehicles, carrying two to eight drones along with computing and cooling gear.
KNDS France is rolling out a drone functions kit and mesh radio network that transform land-based and amphibious vehicles into protected, networked drone hubs.
The kit fits into a 2.5-meter (8.2-foot) compartment and can support up to eight reconnaissance or attack drones, along with the computing and cooling equipment they need.
Troops can deploy, control, and recover drones without ever leaving the safety of their vehicle’s armor, keeping operators protected in high-risk missions.
