Lithuania has announced plans to establish a new military unit dedicated to drone warfare as it moves to centralize and accelerate its unmanned aviation capabilities.

It was named in honor of Antanas Gustaitis, a Lithuanian brigadier general and aeronautical engineer who designed the ANBO multimission aircraft in the 1920s, later used during the Second World War.
