New Zealand-based company SYOS has introduced the SU10 unmanned underwater vehicle, expanding its autonomous systems portfolio into subsea operations.
New Zealand-based company SYOS has introduced the SU10 unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV), expanding its autonomous systems portfolio into subsea operations.
The drone is designed for minehunting, maritime surveillance, and subsea infrastructure protection, and can also support route clearance, underwater inspection, and anti-submarine warfare support.
The SU10 can dive to depths of 500 meters (1,640 feet), uses a fiber-optic tether for live control and data transfer, and has a payload capacity of 10 kilograms (22 pounds).
