Small Drones Begin Pouring In Under Pentagon’s ‘Drone Dominance’ Push

The Pentagon has begun receiving small first-person view (FPV) drones ordered through Gauntlet 1 of the “Drone Dominance” program, a $1-billion initiative aimed at rapidly fielding low-cost, expendable unmanned systems.

Neros, developer of the “Archer” quadcopter, has completed shipments of 2,400 units, with 1,040 confirmed officially accepted to the US military.

Nokturnal AI and California-based Ascent Aerosystems have collectively shipped 560 drones, while other Gauntlet 1 participants have only just begun initial deliveries.
