Thales, Aura Aero Collaborate on Long-Range ISR Drone for French Military

Thales and an AURA AERO subsidiary have partnered on a new intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) drone solution aimed at improving France’s sovereign military capabilities.

Under the Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) initiative, AURA M is introducing the Enbata drone, a multi-mission platform built around fly-by-wire controls and an open architecture designed to support a wide range of payloads.

It will integrate Thales’ AirMaster C airborne radar, which features a compact active electronically scanned array and onboard artificial intelligence.
