The UAE has awarded EOS a $124 million contract for its Slinger counter-drone remote weapon system, in a deal that expands the platform’s international footprint.
The UAE has awarded Electro Optic Systems (EOS) a $124 million contract for its Slinger counter-drone remote weapon system (RWS), in a deal that expands the platform’s international footprint.
The contract covers the full Slinger RWS package, including the cannon, spares, training, and associated support systems, with delivery routed to Abu Dhabi-based Generation 5 (Gen5) Holding.
Manufacturing will be split between Australia and the UAE, and the rollout is expected in 2027.
