Drone Strike Hits UAE Nuclear Plant as Saudi Arabia Downs Three Amid Iran Tensions

The UAE said a drone strike sparked a fire near its sole nuclear power plant, while Saudi Arabia confirmed it detected separate platforms from Iraqi airspace amid renewed tensions tied to the US-Iran conflict.

Abu Dhabi officials said an aircraft struck an electrical generator outside the inner perimeter of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant in Al Dhafra.

Authorities reported no injuries or radiation leak, and that all reactors at the plant continued operating normally, according to Al Jazeera.
