ARX Robotics UK has deployed eight GEREON unmanned ground vehicles through extreme desert conditions during the US Army-led Project Convergence-Capstone 6.
ARX Robotics UK has deployed eight GEREON unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) through extreme desert conditions during the US Army-led Project Convergence-Capstone 6.
Operating continuously for six days at Fort Irwin in California’s Mojave Desert, the robotic platforms executed scouting, electronic warfare, counter-unmanned aerial system, logistics, and emergency transport missions alongside British troops.
The exercise exposed the medium-sized UGVs to harsh temperatures, dust, and complex terrain while testing their ability to remain operational with minimal human intervention.
