Ukraine Targets Russia’s Supply Lifeline With AI-Enabled Strike Drones

Kyiv has intensified drone strikes against Russian supply vehicles in occupied southern Ukraine, targeting key logistics routes with artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled systems that analysts say are reshaping battlefield dynamics.

At least 14 attacks over the past week have hit trucks and vehicles transporting food, fuel, and ammunition along routes linking Russia to Crimea and other occupied areas, according to footage reviewed by BBC.

Experts said advances in drone technology, including Ukraine’s AI-powered Hornet system, are enabling forces to strike targets farther from the frontline with greater precision.
