German companies Deutz and ARX Robotics have started serial production of the GEREON unmanned ground vehicle in Ulm, Baden-Württemberg, with the first systems scheduled for delivery to Ukraine later this year.
German companies Deutz and ARX Robotics have started serial production of the GEREON unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) in Ulm, Baden-Württemberg, with the first systems scheduled for delivery to Ukraine later this year.
The production launch marks the next phase of the companies’ strategic partnership signed in October 2025, to scale manufacturing of autonomous battlefield systems.
Under that collaboration, the consortium will expand the GEREON family with hybrid and combustion-powered variants alongside the existing battery-electric model.
