The US Army has chosen six vendors to build production-ready unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) prototypes for frontline logistics and casualty evacuation.
The Infantry Last Tactical Mile (ILTM) initiative aims to field autonomous systems for high-risk missions between rear support areas and forward-deployed troops, reducing the need to send soldiers into exposed positions.
Selected industry partners include Maren-Go, Overland AI, Forterra, Hendrick’s Motorsports, American Rheinmetall, and HDT.
