BAE Systems is moving toward a new class of battlefield payloads, releasing a family of multi-role warheads designed to deliver adaptable effects for emerging weapon systems.
BAE Systems is moving toward a new class of battlefield payloads, releasing a family of multi-role warheads designed to deliver adaptable effects for emerging weapon systems.
Built around a modular architecture, BlackThorn is designed to merge blast, fragmentation, and anti-armor effects in a single platform.
It comes in three variants: 40 millimeters for lightweight applications, 70 millimeters for tactical multi-role missions, and 120 millimeters for enhanced effects.
