European UGVs Get a Firepower Boost With Turkish Remote Weapons

A Turkish firm is arming Europe’s unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) with remote-controlled firepower, upgrading them for high-intensity support missions.

At Enforce Tac 2026, Sarsilmaz partnered with Hungary’s HT Division to integrate a remotely-controlled weapon system (RCWS) into a newly developed UGV, marking the first step in arming the region’s autonomous ground vehicles.

A prototype unveiled at the event offered a sneak peek into a UGV armed with weapons that soldiers can control from afar.
