Greece is moving to bring AI pilots into its unmanned systems through a new partnership between Shield AI and EFA GROUP.
Greece is moving to bring AI pilots into its unmanned systems through a new partnership between US tech firm Shield AI and Greek defense company EFA GROUP.
The collaboration will use Shield AI’s Hivemind software as a baseline autonomy stack to enable AI-driven decision-making for unmanned platforms under operator-defined control.
Shield AI’s regional director for Eastern and Southeast Europe, James Lythgoe, said Greece is a strategically important partner due to its talent base, industrial capacity, and operational outlook, which can help shape autonomous systems in Europe.
