Patria Netherlands has signed an agreement with ANPC to represent its Transportable Transponder Landing System.

Patria Netherlands has signed an agreement with the Advanced Navigation and Positioning Corporation (ANPC) to represent its Transportable Transponder Landing System (TTLS) in the Netherlands and Finland.

TTLS is a mobile instrument landing system designed to provide precision approach and landing guidance for military and government aircraft operating where conventional navigation infrastructure is unavailable or in GNSS-denied environments.

The system is intended for temporary, remote, or expeditionary operations where fixed airfield infrastructure may be unavailable, helping maintain flight operations under challenging conditions.

Transportable Transponder Landing System

TTLS provides 360-degree airspace monitoring around an airfield, with a range of up to 100 nautical miles (185 kilometers/115 miles), allowing operators to track aircraft movements in the surrounding area.

It also supports precision landing guidance for up to four aircraft simultaneously, including radar-assisted approach capability.

According to the manufacturer, aircraft do not require avionics upgrades or additional pilot training to use the system.

The standard configuration is housed in a 20-foot (6.1-meter) container that can be transported by a single C-130 aircraft, a CH-47 Chinook helicopter, a railcar, or a flatbed truck.

It can be deployed to operational status in less than eight hours by a small, trained team, with the container also serving as an operations center when no air traffic control facilities are available.

ANPC also offers the TTLS-463 variant, configured for transport on a single 463L military cargo pallet.

This version provides the same core functionality in a more compact configuration and can be deployed by a small team in about four hours, with remote operation via fiber-optic or wireless network links.
