The M72 shoulder-fired rocket launcher is receiving a capability boost with a new multi-weapon thermal smart sight developed by Finnish firm Senop and Norway-based Nammo Raufoss AS.
The M72 shoulder-fired rocket launcher is receiving a capability boost with a new multi-weapon thermal smart sight developed by Finnish firm Senop and Norway-based Nammo Raufoss AS.
Called OSKAR TWS, the system integrates an attachable laser rangefinder with either a wired or wireless connection to enable rapid distance measurement and improve first-hit probability.
It features a quick-mount bracket that requires no boresighting, allowing the sight to be attached or removed quickly in field conditions.
