A “first-of-its-kind” turbo system is now at the core of the Israel Defense Forces’ (IDF) Lavi Hummer tactical vehicle, giving it greater performance in mountainous terrain.
A “first-of-its-kind” turbo system is now at the core of the Israel Defense Forces’ (IDF) Lavi Hummer tactical vehicle, giving it greater performance in mountainous terrain.
By drawing more air into the engine, the system helps the vehicle maintain power output at high altitudes, where lower oxygen levels typically reduce engine performance.
The added boost also enables the vehicle to carry heavier loads and maintain mobility across rugged terrain, where conventional engines can lose performance.
