New Thai Armored Vehicle Breaks Cover With Long-Range Missile Firepower

Chaiseri is raising the bar for Thai defense systems with the new Guardian-T 8x8 armored vehicle, a platform designed to integrate a heavy-caliber cannon alongside long-range missile armament.

Unveiled at the 2025 Defense and Security expo in Bangkok, the vehicle represents Thailand’s latest push to field export-ready wheeled combat systems with flexible weapon and sensor integration.

The Guardian-T builds on the amphibious 8x8 chassis used by the Royal Thai Navy Marine Corps but shifts toward a medium-weight, direct-fire support role.
