Valued up to $487 million, the agreement will provide field engineering, logistics, and sustainment solutions for various capabilities.
Systems covered include radars, gears, vehicles, and ground support equipment.
Amentum experts will use predictive analytics and technologies to “deliver improved performance through rapid response methods and operational forecasts.”
The team will be deployed at locations outside the continental US, including several sites in Europe.
Work for the contract consists of a one-year base period with an additional four-year option.
“As the world’s largest provider of US Army ground and aviation equipment services, we look forward to providing leading sustainment solutions in support of our nation and its allies in various challenging missions around the globe,” a statement from Ametum said.
Amentum in US Foreign Military Sales
Earlier this year, Amentum received a $4.64-billion contract to aid the US Air Force’s information technology and procurement workflow management.
The 15-year contract supports the US joint force’s foreign military sales operations, as the Department of Defense expects a boost of transactions from more than 105 partner nations in the coming years.
