Conti Federal Services has signed a $36.3-million contract to build an Aircrew Distributed Debriefing Flight Simulator Facility at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota.
The infrastructure project supports preparation for the US Air Force’s incoming B-21 Raider, a sixth-generation stealth strategic bomber designed to carry conventional and nuclear payloads for long-range airborne strikes.
The construction encompasses 16,500 square feet (1,533 square meters) of additional space over the site’s existing B-21 training complex.
The project will cover secure interior build-out, new structural systems, utility upgrades, paving work, and other modifications tailored to accommodate advanced training solutions.
Conti is set to finalize the activities by September 2028. Throughout the effort, the firm will coordinate milestones with the US Army Corps of Engineers - Omaha District, which holds oversight of the contract.

The award follows a series of projects awarded to Conti in support of B-21’s beddown at the Ellsworth base, including fuel cell and phase maintenance hangars, a radio frequency hub, and a weapons loader training facility.
