Israel Tests Secretive Capsule Weapon for the Final 100 Meters of Air Defense

Israeli firm Erez Defense Solutions has put its mysterious capsule weapon through a series of tests, offering a rare glimpse of the air defense system operating in a real-world environment.

According to the company, the trials focused on the proprietary capsule and its launch hardware, pushing both components through demanding conditions.

The tests also examined whether the system’s ballistic and mechanical launch sequence could function as intended outside a simulated environment.
