Russian Tupolev Tu-22 M3 long-range bombers struck Islamic State targets near Al Bukamal, Syria on Saturday, November 4, the ministry of defense said, the fourth time in four days that the aircraft have struck targets in Deir Ezzor province.
The aircraft flight path took them from Russia over Iran and Iraq to Syria, where they targeted ISIS command posts and ammunition stores.
"The objective control confirms the destruction of all the designated facilities. After fulfilling the combat mission, all Russian aircraft returned to the airfields of the basing," the ministry said.

On October 31, Kalibr cruise missiles were launched from the submarine Veliky Novgorod. On November 1 and 2, six Tu-22M3 struck ISIS targets in the province, and on November 3, six Tu-22M3 conducted strikes and missiles were launched from the submarine Kolpino.
