Indra Group is targeting a long-standing limitation in submarine operations with a new high-speed satellite terminal designed to boost connectivity underwater.
Unlike traditional military systems that rely on the X band or civilian networks that use Ku band, the new “TSUB-40Ka” terminal operates on the Ka band for higher data rates.
This enables faster information transfer, with speeds reportedly reaching above 1 megabyte per second.
