Roketsan’s new naval interceptor hit a sea-skimming target dead-on during a live-fire test, showcasing its potential as the Turkish Navy’s next shipborne counter-drone and missile defense option.
The Turkish defense giant’s HISAR-D Radio Frequency (RF) missile achieved the milestone during a series of demonstrations aboard the TCG Istanbul-class frigate, integrated with the MIDLAS vertical launch system.
As the tests progressed, the company made adjustments to the missile that could prepare it for eventual deployment with the fleet.
