Damocles Launched Effect is Textron Systems’ new AI-enabled modular payload system designed for top-attack, electronic warfare, and ISR missions.
Textron Systems has unveiled the Damocles launched effect (LE), a new modular payload system designed to give operators an edge in peer-warfare environments.
The Damocles LE can field the company’s GEN2 explosively formed penetrator (EFP) for top-attack missions or carry alternate payloads for electronic-warfare (EW) and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) roles.
The system includes advanced artificial intelligence to assist target engagement while keeping a human in the loop for mission supervision and decisions.
